One of my favourite forms of vintage home decor is the use of vintage advertising. Gorgeous vintage illustrations combined with product advertising of the day makes for some beautiful and interesting additions to the home. Vintage health and medicinal products decorating your bathrooms as wall art are beautiful, funny and sometimes even frightening! Here are some examples of Vintage Bathroom Wall Art I have for sale at www.vintageobsession.com
There's something decidedly creepy about this poster....

Back Again
Well here I am again having another go at Blogging. Basically, I really suck at it and don't like blogging at all. It's too much like talking to myself! So I thought I'd start again with the basics.
What exactly is 'Vintage'?
The dictionary definition of 'vintage' is:- An item that is too old to be modern but too new to be 'antique'. Generally speaking clothing and items prior to 1920 is classed as 'antique' and after 1920 is 'vintage'. Items from 20 - 30 years ago are generally referred to as 'retro'.
Now that we've cleared that up, I do not sell genuine vintage items. Vintage Obsession sells modern items decorated with vintage and antique prints and illustrations. I also sell replica vintage and antique prints.
So welcome to the new Vintage Obsession blog where I will talk about Vintage Home Decor for Modern Living.
